EDIT: This story is very old haha, and it's the first actual story/fanfiction that I wrote, so it isn't very good. For the sake of all the attention it's been getting and has gotten I will fix the bad english and many grammar mistakes. I also want to fix the pacing just a bit but all in all I hope I can make the story more enjoyable.

A story about Tauriel and Legolas, that follows the plot of The Lord of the rings and it begins at the end of  the battle of five armies. It writes Tauriel into the LOTR plot as an additional character and a love interest.

How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic. I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books).
