"I can't seem to let you go," he breathed into my hair. "I'll see you very soon, Emmy."

"Yeah," I replied in a daze, as if the hug had just blasted me spiralling into the stratosphere.

For Emilia 'Emmy' Harwell, there are many, infinitely more fulfilling things she could be doing with her time than hiding from her two friends.

Enter James Westlake who is also attempting to hide, but this time it's from a horde of girls chasing him around town. The reason for this? He's a young, outrageously handsome singer who can make a girl faint with just a smile and a wave and everyone wants to be him or with him.

As if it was fated, these two end up hiding in the same place. However, James isn't just a pop star. That's just a front his family allowed him to have in order for him to find his soulmate. Unfortunately, James doesn't believe in soulmates, that is, until he meets Emmy.

Basically just a book about a hot celebrity, a girl who gets way more than she bargained for and a bond between soulmates which neither of them asked for. Is it love at first sight? Yes. Almost. But will either of them be able to see it through?
