Peter always felt out of place, as if he was missing something. His self-degradation & jokes were his shields that kept the world ignorant to the dying garden inside him. Daisy devoted her love to the plants she tended to, but she still had plenty of room for Peter in her thriving garden. She was the most beautiful flower Peter had ever seen & when she planted seeds into his heart, he became a greenhouse; sprouting flowers he never knew he could grow. She made a garden in his chest, one that would never wilt. (A Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver [X-Men] Fanfiction novella)
