Jasmine, Jaz, is on the run from her past and trying to stay in the shadows to keep from being found. But that's hard to do when the stranger on the plane wouldn't leave her be and talk her into staying with him for a few nights on his ranch until she knew what she's doing with her life. Clayton James Bennett, CJ to those who don't know him, knew who Jasmine was way before the plane. He had been watching her and her family for some time and now was the chance to get her out of harms way. Once CJ has Jasmine under his roof his next mission is to keep her safe and away from his heart. But what happens when he lets his heart get in the way and danger gets too close to home?

This is not your ordinary high school story. This is different. Its complicated at times, but easier to understand at other times. Jasmine moves to the opposite end of the country. From Virginia to California. She is the type of girl who plays that 'bad boy' type thing, but she's a girl. Being in a different state, she tries to hide her past, until she met Blake. But there are some twists, not only is her past out, but so is Blake's. And stuff that happened in their past will effect their present, and future. It will either tear them apart, or draw them closer to each other. Some things are a bit cliché, But it is not like any other high school 'romance' book. There are twists at the end of every story. Some more than others.
