In the Basement

The cold air blew up my shirt, I wrapped my jacket tighter around me. Why didn't I get a ride with Sam? I mentally yell at myself.

I hear some voices and a car door open, I look to see a man and a women both around forty grabbing bags from the car, and a girl with dark brown hair walk into a house, not seeing her face. I look into the backseat and see, Michael.

I look at the parents, they didn't look at all like him really. "Ashley! Ashley, help me!" He screamed, I looked at him, his face was scared. The man's face turned red with anger. "Lilian! Grab her!" He yelled, I saw the women move quickly towards me. I ran to the house across the street but halfway Lilian grabbed me from behind and pulled me down. My body hit the street, she dragged me back to the house.

"You shouldn't have opened your mouth boy." I heard the man say to Michael. Lilian put a rag over my mouth, I tried not breath, but failed my vision started to go dark and I passed out.

Ashley is the nerdy girl at school that no one notices unless her and her friends are in the library laughing about books, inside jokes or games.

Michael is the popular boy, he is captain of the lacrosse team and kinder than most of his friends.

Suddenly both are stuck in a man's basement until the police can find them.
