Ariel abhors humans. She loves her ocean home and will never trade it in for anything in the world. But when an accident happens caused by the human King, taking away the one thing that labels her a mermaid, how would she cope?
King Edmund's actions continue, creating havoc amongst the oceans greatest lively hood to the smallest but still significant creatures. Ariel's world as we know is being destroyed beyond repair, and the only way to stop it is to migrate away from the ocean, to the land of their enemies.
The land, Concorde, becomes overly populated, resources dwindling as the crowd of merfolk transition to the human way of life.
But who is really at fault for the reason the mermaid raid the dry land?
There are searches, lockdowns, imprisonment, fire, love and war, all to find the invaders from the water.

"Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone.
