The butterfly effect is something Nora is pretty familiar with.

So it just seems logical to her that the universe decided to punish her for her stupid decisions she did with her 23 years.

Maybe it was the occurrence where she woke up next to her best friend in bed- naked and believed the could go back to be just friends, even though she know that he has feelings for her

Or where she agreed to pretend to be the girlfriend to the brother of her colleagues and hurting her friends.
