Middle grade urban fantasy. One chapter written every night for the first 24 days of December 2016. Written for two boys who like bedtime stories about children and animals and adventure.
James notices something strange about the starlings in Brighton. They are roosting on his school roof. And Jenny notices some seagulls acting oddly. But when Elf's cat is attacked by pigeons, and a squirrel loses its tail in the fight, James and Jenny decide to investigate.
The story will conclude by Christmas day.
Each part was read to the boys as their bedtime story for December, and can be found as a podcast - search itunes/stitcher/etc. for "bedtime story adventure 2016".

The word 'Fairy' meant very little to Sam. He imagined mischievous little imps with brightly coloured wings, he imagined cute little tricksters who delighted young children. He knew them only as a story, one he was a little too old for. Haunted by ghosts of the past and torn between who he is and who he wants to be, Sam must unravel the mystery of his predecessor all the while falling in messy love with a Vampire Initiate.
