Rosalyn Zaccaria hasn't always had it easy. Well the first 15 years of her life were amazing. But when an accident happens a year ago, that leaves her without her loving, amazing parents, just with her aunt, she's terrorized. She hides, yet has a light smile, and kind soul, just no chance to show it. No one likes the daughter of dead people, right? Everyone knows how teenagers are. Some are cruel, some are kind, some are lonely. Some are freaks. Rosalyn is considered a freak. But no, she's not lonely.

Kysen Zamora is lonely. Kysen Zamora is a freak. He's both. But he's all his sister has got. She needs him. A walking mystery, hidden behind the same wall as Rosalyn, the pages of a sketchbook. Intricate lines build his sad life. Colorless sketches. Built high, surrounding his soul and heart in hurt and sadness. He hides them, from anyone and everyone. He won't let them in. But It's not like she saw them on purpose. Together, their guards come crashing down, igniting and burning, with the intensity of that of a forest fire.

But are they really better off alone? No. Maybe, just maybe they're stronger together. Who knows.?
