Growing up in the city of North Philadelphia as a young Hispanic female trying to make it out the "hood." Feeling so alone and trying to protect herself from people she calls "family." The middle of two siblings, her father can't work due to a prior tumor he had, and mom walks out on a drug addiction. The world is at her feet and the only one who can change her circumstance is herself. What do you do when the only person whose got your back is the one staring back at you in the mirror?
