Nobody thought Kyle Benedict would solve the case, and sure enough, he didn't. People thought that Joanna Gardner would have a better chance at solving the mystery, but she too disappeared without a trace. People say that third time's the charm, and sure enough, Miss Scarlett Coaves was said to get really close to the answer, that is, until she simply vanished one day. And finally, despite the constant warnings, Detective Mason Boot took on the case.

He didn't make it past the first week.

Finn and Electra arrive at the Faulkner Mansion with little clues and almost no leads. As they progress on their case, it becomes evident that they somehow don't fit into the puzzle. They receive no clues from any of the previous detectives and almost no help at all. It soon becomes evident that the previous four disappearances were no coincidence and that everyone is hiding a secret; everyone from the billionaire Mr. Faulkner, the highly efficient maid Colette, and even Jim and Em, the only two seemingly friendly and normal people in the mansion.

Sometimes, the most important person isn't you and you have to accept that your job may be just to help someone else.

Finn and Electra aren't the only people investigating this case.
