Recovering from her best friend moving across the country, Isabelle is forced into an unwanted friendship with her new neighbor, Caswell. Hesitant at first, Isabelle slowly begins to allow Caswell to join her in the activities she does to try to get her mind off of her best friend leaving (these activities being adventuring into the woods, taking long walks as the sky grows from blue to lilac, staring up at the clouds). As Isabelle and Caswell grow closer, the pain Isabelle has from her best friend moving lessens. Throughout the summer, Isabelle shows Caswell all the secret places her and her best friend used to go, all of the games they used to play, and before she knows it, Isabelle realizes that the laughs she used to share with her best friend, she now shares with Caswell.
[BXB] Blake Collins moves in next door and Luca Mendoza's world turns upside down.
☆☆☆
When popular football player Blake Collins moves in next door, Luca Mendoza assumes it won't change a thing in their nonexistent relationship (regardless of the crush that he may or may not have).
But then Blake's infuriating thirteen-year-old brother comes into the picture. He plays his music too loud, constantly kicks his soccer ball over the fence and is generally a pain in Luca's ass.
When Luca decides he has no other choice but to confront this terror of a middle schooler, he fails to realize that Blake has overheard him until it's too late.
To his surprise, the incident triggers a friendship between the two of them and Luca begins to wonder if he has a better shot with Blake than he's been giving himself credit for.
