Mature
Somewhere in the deep woods of Minnesota lies a little town uncommonly known as shadow falls. With nothing shy of 14,997 people. Miles Maxwell, his mother Janice, and his nasty stepfather Jake move into town leaving a grand total of 15,000 people. Moving from the hot, humid almost swampy landscape of CharlesCreek Texas to a 80 degree average warm weather town in the middle of nowhere couldn't have been harder. Did I mention its in the middle of nowhere. For the longest time Miles had lived with stereotypes such as being the shy accidental out of the closet gay with an abusive father. Not to mention the "straight kids meaning almost all of the kids" would pick on and beat on him all of the time. But that was before he moved to shad0w fa||s a place where stereotypes and everything normal is practically flipped. Now that, that is not stereotypical.

❝Do you realize how messed up we are, hiding our honest feelings just because we wanted to be stereotypically normal? It's bullshit. ❞ ***** Kirlia Hemmings is normal and she makes sure that she reminds herself of that fact, at least once every day. However, despite all her attempts, the entire universe makes her feel like an outcast for being brought up by a gay couple. Her dads are her life but since the arrival of puberty, the only thing she had ever acquired was a jar full of insecurities that made her vulnerable about her very awesome dads. Peter Hemmings and Noah Benedict, soon realise how their daughter was suffering because of their decision of being together and go against the societal norms. Infuriated and dejected, they collectively decide to go make her switch schools. Pride High School. A school was established for homosexuals and people who had been discriminated against based on their gender preferences. Kirlia, however, had a minute issue. She was straight and straights were despised in Pride High. Caught up in a mix of 'heterophobes', it's almost hard to dodge them without getting involved with 'The Scandalous Six', now seven, a gang of those who don't care about people more than baseless prejudices. Being scandalous and friendly, she gets a gang of weirdos who become her beam of sanity. But soon the fury of attraction and prejudices collide, making it almost impossible to run away from reality. How far would Kirlia go to get her piece of love? Or will she be restricted by the prevailing stereotypes? ***** ©sarcastic-mess/2022 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 :: June 2022 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 :: ???

They had met back in new York as young kids and absolutely hated each other. Once he starts to follow her everywhere in town, she starts to learn how to put up with his antics until a tragedy strikes upon them. Dallas Winston x fem OC WARNING: some mature shit.
