Ellen and her family go on a yearly, two week long camping trip. Ellen is a smart girl with a passion for astronomy. On the second to last day of the camping trip Ellen and her sister Ashley see a shooting star that actually turned out to be a space ship. Ellen, Ashley and their parents travel down the path to discover two teenage boys, appearing to be seventeen years of age, emerge from the ship.
Kuragari, the rude, selfish, and sometimes cruel copilot with mysterious powers and Yuki, the kind, gentle, and friendly pilot.
Ellen and her family are in for quite a summer and fall semester once the two visitors from another planet discover that the person they're after is on Earth, and has less than friendly intentions for the planet.

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy. If there's one thing Orlando Holmes, JD Smith, and Cadence Sinclair have in common, it's that they all want to survive high school by keeping their heads down. That changes the day an alien not only crashes through the roof of their local mall, but also recruits them for a mission to stop an intergalactic war from spreading to its next battlefield: Earth. It's a mission that hits close to home when teens from the local area end up missing only to later reappear dead. Together, they need to figure out how to use their new abilities while at the same time navigating their personal lives and somehow learning how to get along. Easy, right? Triggers: off-screen murder, characters with an offensive sense of humor, kidnapping, mentions of suicide.
