This story is about Jace Wayland and Clary Fray's forbidden love. They both love each other deeply, but Clary finds out Valentine is her father. Then Valentine sees how much Clary and Jace are drawn together and uses that against them. He lies and says that they're brother and sister. This doesn't stop them.
