[MAJOR EDITING AND CHANGES IN PROGRESS] Meredith's life is shattered after the loss of someone very dear. Helpless and lost, she doesn't know what to do next. Depressed and defeated, she confines herself to her own world and barely steps out. That's when Jeremy enters her life, transforming her outlook on life and love. Despite being afraid of the future and what it might bring, she decides to take the risk anyway. But will fate allow her to have her happy ending? Or will it intervene and change her story forever? This story had a beginning. But we're no longer at the beginning of the story. Instead, we join a story that's already in progress--one that has evolved over time without the benefit of our watching its events unfold. Given the fact that we're jumping in in the midst of things, we must try to understand what is happening right now and then look to the characters to help us discern what has already occurred. Understanding is important because we must join the ride and follow the sad story to its conclusion. This story is a emotional rollarcoaster. FYI this fic is borrowed from @Tapatalk.
