"Why did you choose me?" I asked softly. "Because I knew when I first saw you that you would be mine." He replied. "Then why are you leaving me?" I asked with tears in my eyes. "You need to live a normal life. Grow up, have kids, get married and be happy. Something you can never have with me." He said, wiping my tears away. "Don't go." I pleaded. "But I have to." He whispered hoarsely. My vervain necklace was no longer around my neck. "No! You don't get to take my memories away! You promised you wouldn't!" I said taking a step back. He placed his hands on both sides of my face. "You will forget about my family and I. You will not remember the time we spent together or the feelings we shared. You will know about vampires, but nothing more." He compelled me. He kissed the top of my head before blurring away.
