Like Minds - To my beloved Maraclea
A thousand year old secret leads to murder. Alex Forbes is a brilliant student that goes to his father's boardingschool: St. Barnabas College. He's cheeky, popular and incredibly charming on his own way. He lives a rather bored life, being forced by his dad to study hard for his future, and had to live with the fact he'll never have a caring mother or a real home. As soon as a new boy arrives at the school, everything changes for Alex. The new student called Nigel Colbie is strange, and by some kind of reasons it seems like he's always there - wherever Alex goes. He seems to be obsessed by history and fairytales about Templars, eternity, power and death, and forces Alex to join him with that. When Nigel keeps messing with Alex his head, he slowly loses himself - getting frustrated and confused by feelings and thought he never expected himself to have. This guy had something, something rather interesting but also dark and weird... Whatever he tries, he can't escape from the guy that intertwines himself with Alex his mind - being forced by it and driven to madness until the very end. Overwhelmed by sexualfrustrations, confusion, and the sake of many friends. "Have you ever had that feeling that there was someone inside your head, listening to your thoughts? Your darkest secrets floating out there like radio waves, just waiting to be picked up on. There was something about this guy." A huge English fanfiction about the brilliant British film Like Minds with an own twist.Concluida![Into The Trenches: A World War I Journal [2019]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/196405621-256-k421239.jpg)
Into The Trenches: A World War I Journal [2019]
It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. These may not be complete, so if a chapter is not marked and should be, please comment to let me know. Written in 2019 (age 15).Concluida

Saphyre's Intro: I was kidnapped and beaten to the point where I was millimeters from death, yet somehow I always managed to live. That was the worst part, living. You never knew how precious life was until it was stripped away from you. I had a life, but it has since completely changed. All I dreamed about was the pain that psychotic bastard brought me. He will follow me where ever I go, watch me while I'm in my own home, and even be there in my dreams. He will never leave me until someone kills him, and I promise it will be me. For I might be the prey, but I am also the hunter.Concluida

Collin is lost, in more ways than one. He doesn't know where he is, who he is, or what the word "reality" even means anymore. All he knows is that he's alone. He's alone. And he can do nothing to stop it. Trigger warning: the whole book is essentially someone being mentally tortured, so lots of mentally icky stuff. Allusions to self-harm/suicide. Paranoid and/or schizophrenic episodes. (I'm not as knowledgeable on schizophrenia as I am on paranoia, so take that with a large grain of salt) (Part of the MC chronicles -can be read in any order) ~~~~~ ~(_-_)~ Cover is a drawing that I didConcluida

I frowned. "If insanity is a mental illness then madness lies within us all. Think about it. We develop illnesses from different pathogens such as the common cold. That's an illness. Some people are just better immune to sickness than others..." 'All suffering in the world is born from one individual's incompetence.' Do you believe the saying is true? Has it ever crossed your mind that all the war, hatred and pain was the result from the actions of your own species? These were the type of questions that not only Sebastian Turner thought but haunted his very soul. When his once-beloved country's peace is interrupted by those who want to interfere with the peace, you immediately take action and defend because YOU are the victim, right? And of course, aiding your country automatically makes you a hero, correct? Well....if only that was the case.Concluida
