16 Year old Susan White had a bit of a tuff life. She got bullied both mentally and rarely physically, and on her 13 birthday her father died due to a Car accident. But Susan had a loving mother and understanding best friend which helped a little.
However when Susan and her friend Megan Newman go to a local fair into a fun house, she sees her worst nightmare come true right before her eyes.
Her wish of death is granted that then brings her to Halloween Town where she lives the role of Jack and Sally's daughter.
Little does she know that Megan and possibly her old crush or cause of her death, Mark will soon join her.
