Before the Earth ever took its shape, there were four wolves that lived within the universe that could harness one of the four elements. Fire, Water, Earth and Air. During this time, these great wolves had decided to create a planet where anything they created could live peacefully and happily. Over the course of many years, the Earth finally took its shape. In which these Gods had created their own species, although these new creations could not harness their elemental power. Many years later, these mighty Gods had died off, soon passing their elemental power down to mighty and loyal wolves they thought could handle, and protect, their robust powers. Over time, this event was called the 'Elemental Passing' which still remained many years after. Several years after this event was created, the wolves soon became relentless, wanting the power for themselves. Soon these so called 'Elemental Wolves' became a myth, becoming forgotten to many. Although these elemental wolves eventually died off, they decided to keep their power to themselves in the afterlife, unsure of who to give their power too. There legend becoming a myth hundreds of years after. . : Book One : . Melody is a member of one of the five tribes of animal shapeshifters who live beyond the human domain. These people have the ability to shapeshift into particular animals when they come of age in their tribe, attending something called the Ceremony. When given the chance to escape from her family, she jumps for it, spiraling into a world of mystery, danger, and unexpected surprises. But unknown to her, the spirits of the underworld have broken loose, and are tracking her every step. Why they want her, she has yet to know. But she will soon. Friends become enemies and families are reunited only to be broken apart. Whether she survives will be up to her companions as they race to right a world that has fallen drastically out of balance. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * A haze darkened the edges of my vision and my knees buckled. This was too much, way too much. In half a day, my life had been turned upside down. Just as I was about to fall, the raven transformed into a boy and caught me. The bird had just turned into a boy. What the heck? What was an Avian doing on Lupine territory? * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * After much debate, I decided to discontinue this second book and series. I love the world and I built and the characters with all my heart but the writing is incredibly outdated and the plot progression is all over the place. I may reuse these characters in the future, but this series has come to an end. I'm sorry to the people who wished to see the story continue, but I hope you'll be able to join me on future fantastical journies once I have time to write more! * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * First Published: Dec. 20, 2018 Finished: Mar. 31, 2020 Finished Publishing: 5-23-2020
