Hi, my name is Silver and I'm 17 years old. Many people wonder where my name comes from and to be honest, I'm not really sure. My mother died when I was 3 and my father left right after my mom died. The only one who took care of me was my older brother, Drake. Drake is 10 years older than me. So when I was 3, he was 13. He protected me and took care of me. I live with my aunt now because my brother joined the military. I worry about losing him a lot, just like how I lost the rest of my family. I kind of miss being little. I couldn't understand anything so I had no reaction to it. I was just blank. Now, I feel every emotion possible. Through the struggles of senior year, I fight through with my friends. I made new friends, found the love of my life, and had my future planned out. Here's my story.
