But when the lead psychologist in charge of the case killed himself, they asked me.  And, really, how could I resist?  

How was I supposed to resist getting inside the mind of The Joker?  A deranged, genius, psychotic mastermind?

I couldn't resist.  I couldn't resist becoming his doctor.  

And I couldn't resist falling in love with him.
