"What do you have to hide? An unrequited love perhaps?" Bruce Wayne is dead and that has took a toll on everyone. Gotham mourns the billionaire, but also knowing the the Bat has suddenly disappeared, the city is a wreck. The only protectors of the city is the family Bruce built. His family didn't take the news very well, especially his biological son, Damian Wayne. He still continues his journey as the boy wonder. In his recent acts, he has been more violent. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book. 14 year old Jade Knight is the Jester, adopted daughter of The Joker and Harley Quinn. She's been with them since she was a young child but spent a few of those years training with assassins. She is meant to take over the role of being the Joker but to do so she has to kill Robin. Robin is guessed to attend Gotham Academy so Jade is sent there undercover as a new student but finding Robin is harder than it looks. She makes a friend called Dick Grayson and after a while he starts to make the things the Joker and Harley put into her head go away and she sort of changes and realises she doesn't actually want to be the Jester anymore. She finally tells Joker and Harley she doesn't want to be the bad guy anymore but they don't accept it and try to kill her. She's then saved by the league but when she wakes up Joker is gone and left a broadcast announcing that Jade was the Joker, the one thing she feared most of becoming and it breaks her making her loose what's left of her sanity. Nearly two years later she finds out that Dick didn't die and that he was under a new name, Nightwing. But will his return be enough to reverse her being the Joker or will she still stay insane?Complete
