I've read a bunch of phan, so why not write one? Dan Howell's life couldn't be any better at the moment. He has met the most beautiful, charming, kind girl he could ever imagine, and she loves him back. Everything is perfect... but not for Phil. Phil Lester has always been in love with Dan since the first moment he first met him, but now Phil's heart is crushed. He has some suspicions of Dan's girlfriend, but Dan just brushes it off, ignoring Phil completely. Unfortunately, Phil's bad feelings may be true... This is my first fanfic I ever attempted writing so I'm sorry it sucks Dan has a bad life and is constantly looking for the positive and usually comes up short... Until Phil. Dan is believed to be a grumpy badass by most. There is some truth to that. But, under the surface he is a sweet and happy guy. Phil has a happy life but can never seem to find true happiness... Until Dan. Phil uses the illusion of happiness to hide the true darkness within him. When the two have a chance encounter, their lives change forever. Phil colors Dan's world in ways he never thought possible. And Phil realized that maybe he didn't need to hide. Triggers: attempted suicide, depression, and boyxboy (is that a trigger?)
