Laila Galeon was a witch in training, proficient in many skills such as spellcasting and divination, but seems to have a small issue when it comes to potion making. That doesn't seem to matter to most, but for someone who intends to practice love magic, they seem to be the center of attention of said practice.
In an attempt to improve, she decides to play it safe by gradually making different types of potions until she gets to stronger ones. A potent love potion with the secondary effect of killing the consumer if the feelings do not become true. After a series of unfortunate events, said brew ends up being consumed by her brother's best friend and it immediately starts a race against death.
