Description-
When people look at their lives - like really look at them - they will conclude that they are either terrible or great; even the most boring of lives. What they don't know is that they had very little to do with it. Lives are not one's own. They are property of another. Mere entertainment. They belong to Fate.
Fate is a cruel and twisted master. She takes a great life and makes it terrible, or takes a terrible life and makes it great. How one's life goes, is all in how Fate see's as the most entertaining. When it seems like it will be interesting, she throws herself at it. Makes it the spot light of her show. Audience? Life and Death, Good and Bad. She makes them her puppets and uses them to assist her ways.
Fate can be evil.
Almost eleven years prior to the date of this story - September 1, 1971 - she saw a perfect spotlight. A group of children were about to be born - or just recently were born. As they grow up they will live the most interesting of lives. Fate wanted their destinies and she needed the best way to obtain them.
So, she went for the core. Two girls who knew nothing of each other until September 1, 1971 - Alicia Weasley and Toraline Cosmier. Both predestined for great and terrible lives. Both set at Fate's hand.
Fate really is Evil.
