Echo Nightwing was the first shadow knight, she was also lady Irene's guard and lover until a man named Shad stole Irene's heart from Echo. Before the big war lady Irene cast a spell to protect Echo. After 900 years a young women named Aphmau and her two guards Garroth and Laurence stumbled across a tomb, once they had opened the tomb they were shocked to see a young woman.
