"Sebastion heard the growling of the three contestants as they riled up the towns people, and he saw them being put back into the forest as the audience started to shake with anger; towards themselves, towards each other, towards the pain they were starting to feel course through their bodies. Sebastion remembered his first change, and not being able to control yourself at all was something he wasn’t looking forward to experiencing. Sliding gates along the edge of the forest to keep the contestants in, the shaking men hurried to lock them shut. Sebastion felt the shift in the air as slowly, slowly, their fingers turned to claws, their ears snapped and pointed upwards, their mouths stopped letting air through for the seconds that it took to grow a snout, and their bodies all grew and shifted, their howls echoing louder than the snap of their bones and the rip of their clothes."
