Y/n isn't the only main character. This book shows problems in all of their lives so if you want a book where it's only about y/n's life then this book isn't for you. Also this book is based in a city similar to Chicago. Some of the kids live in the suburban part and some in the city part of Chicago. It actually doesn't get too good until around chapter 6.
