On the city-world of Ravnica,  things are often beautiful but rarely quiet. Magic pervades every aspect of life; a wide variety of beings walk the crowded streets, and countless wonders and horrors alike are hidden from all but the canniest denizens.
        For over ten thousand years the power in Ravnica has been divided among the ten magical guilds; they act as the controlling bodies for different aspects of life. Their conduct, however, is regulated by the Guildpact, a single individual with control of the magical document codifying each guild's domain of influence. The Guildpact is responsible for maintaining balance,  and they are at least in theory totally neutral to ensure their judgements are based solely on the Pact proper.
        "In theory" is, of course, the operative phrase.
        When Guildpact Jace dies prematurely under "mysterious circumstances," the ten guilds are eager to put forward their own candidates for the next keeper of the balance.  These candidates would totally, definitely not be biased towards their guild of origin in any way. 
        Fortunately, to get the approval of the other guilds, each candidate must prove themselves to be exactly that. And earning approval in the eyes of Ravnica's mightiest may just mean sacrificing all they hold dear.

But even more critical, and far more uncertain, is the future of the Eternal Order without thier godhead of a leader--Delvargus Jordan Kong Junior who is currently training in the magical school of Hogwarts. Grand General of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Joseph Jordan Kirkpatrick, is attempting to complete his Great Trial in order to elevate himself in the ranks of the Eternal Order. All the while, a certain Eternal Master, consumed by a Force imbued madness is headed to Cybertron on a fearsome mission that could doom the Eternal Order...and devastate the entire galaxy as well as N.A.T.O. itself.

There's some gore here and there, but it's largely treated as matter-of-fact, not over-the-top. Vampires eat people and necromancers engage in dismemberment. What can you do?

This caused the queens to turn to a prophecy starring four dragonlings who might just save them all. Nerve is one of the prophecy dragonlings, who has almost lived his entire life not knowing he has his talons in two mancers. While on the journey to restore peace on Drealite, he learns that not every dragon close to him can be fully trusted, and he cannot let his guard down. (I'm keeping this up for reminiscence reasons, my middle school self thanks you 😭)

Themes: slow burn, some BDSM, smut (loads of it), dirty talking, knotting, breeding, reverse harem, romance, kink exploration, action, world-building and a purely character-driven plot with wholesome and humorous moments :) What's not in the book? - Grape. Even though there's a power imbalance between the FL and the MLs, whatever happens between them and her involves consent. No cheating. The MLs don't do each other in this book.
