A local school musical from a country town, 'The King and I' was a huge hit. A very professional cast of teens, amazing sets and sell out audiences every single night over the eight show run. A major casting company who knows the director of the show has now asked the teenagers and the teachers involved in the show to do 'The King and I' professionally for the July to October season in The Lyric theatre at The Star in Sydney. What could go wrong? Teens can be unpredictable and can do stupid things. Can this group of teens get through the season unharmed, or will they have to suffer the consequences of their actions? A Hanna Crowe Original. With help from darkeyes23 and personal friends. Dedicated to the musical cast of 2013. The best theatre family I've ever had. I'll see you all soon.

And she couldn't be happier. Talia is an ambitious girl who dreams of performing on the stage to an adoring audience every night. She will stop at nothing to make this dream a reality. You see, Talia is not a typical eighteen-year-old. She doesn't go out partying and getting drunk every night with her friends. She would rather be inside with more important things on her mind, like practising her scales. She's also never had a boyfriend, but she doesn't care. She sees boys and relationships as a distraction from her goals. So, she has taken a personal vow to stay away from boys until she has made it on the West End. But this could all change when American student Hunter Clarke strolls into her acting class. Hunter is everything Talia hates; arrogant, obnoxious, and worst of all: a distraction. However, Talia can't help but notice Hunter's redeeming qualities, like his talent and of course, his incredibly good looks. Can Hunter be the one to change Talia's third rule? COMPLETED: 24/12/2015
