Quinn Travis has been a foster child all her life. From one foster home to another, each one is worst than the last, despite the positive promises of her social worker. This time, Quinn has had enough. After her 7th abusive foster father, Quinn's only option is to run away and never look back. All alone in the streets of California, she meets the elusive Gigi, who leads her (supposedly) to a tight knit group of runaways who always have each others backs. Sucked into a life of crime and violence for the sake of survival, Quinn must gain what it takes to battle fellow criminals on the street, deal with backstabbing fake friends and allies, and juggle a romantic relationship that could shine a new light on her world, or burn it to the ground.

As she attempts to escape the grip of her vicious foster dad, she falls into the grasp of something that could be much worse, the infamous gang leader, Jax Walker. Jax sees beneath her innocent exterior and she slowly becomes the bad boys' new obsession. Will Lena get dragged into the gang life or will she manage to escape?
