My name is Dick Grayson, and I ran away with the circus. Haley's Circus, on my 5th birthday to be exact. Mary and John Grayson had raised me up until their deaths. A man named Tony Zucco killed them, a man paid by my father in an attempt to get me back. Back to the living hell he had created for me since birth. But I know the Batman will protect me, my dad won't be able to reach me with the worlds greatest detective by my side. And now I'm on a team of teen superheros, who I've grown fond of despite what dad taught me. He can't find me, if he does, he'll demolish the perfect life I've created...

The Bat is dead, gods destroyed cities and killed heroes, villains had retreated and some not even created yet. Nightwing must regain control over his crazy life, a year after the death of Bruce Wayne. A story taking inspiration from Batman comics, movies and video games, with the main character of this media being Dick Grayson, the first Robin sidekick and my personal favourite DC character. I'd like to highlight that this text is based around the concept of elseworlds, multiverses and parallel worlds. None of this is attempting to be canon, I will use some canon as the base for my writings, and I will also create my own canon. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't.
