Shall We Date? Destiny Ninja 2: Ran
Edith and her cousin Mikaela are descendants of Princess Unmei, the previous wielder of the three sacred treasures. After receiving letters from their uncle, the two are finally called to fulfill their destiny and cleanse the symbol of each village, but there's a twist.
They must choose one ninja each to accompany and protect them throughout their journey. Edith is drawn to a certain ninja's beautiful eyes and her instinct just tells her to bring him along.
But what happens when their destiny is unraveled more than they expected? What happens when their destiny begins to scare them?
Edith chose Ran, the son of the chieftain of the Winter Village, to be her companion. Along the way, they learn many different things. Some helpful, some daunting, and some threatening.
The two of them somehow manage to unravel the truth of the island together and quite possibly bite off more than they can chew. No matter what happens, however, they can get through it, because "Love gives people strength."

Between the Cherry Trees
Years ago Destiny lived in a small, quiet village. It was pretty, secluded, and the home of her father's medical business. The village would have been a perfectly peaceful place to live if the villagers hadn't labeled her a monster. Even now, when she was much older, the thought of going back had Destiny full of anxiety. Would the villagers still hate her? Or would her mistake be continually be brought before her? The Purple Ninja has been through some crazy things in her journey with Cole. But now that she is heading back to her home, will her past be too much for her? Between the Cherry Trees is a short story written solely by me, and it takes place after To Steal a Destiny, the second book in Destiny's story. If you haven't read that book you can find Cole's perspective on Brookshadow15's account. It's not super necessary to this story, but I do mention it at least once. He feels a strong sense of rivalry with the big cities, Spring Village and Fall Village, where villagers look down on his village as "the country side"; however, their ninja skills are actually on an equal footing.
