Winter Lee Love/Rose, who's 16 and is mute and easily frightened. Lives in a foster family with her father Drake, mother Molly, and her brother Luke.
Winter was born into a loving family as an only child. When Winter was 10 her mother and father were coming home late at night and were involved in a crash which took both their lives.
