Based in London and in a position similar to a school counselor (but not) she craves something of an adventure. So she joins the TA, or the Reserve. Twice. Fast-forward a period of time. She's married, in Germany on honeymoon. Certain traumas continue to haunt her from her TA days. But Catholicism has canon law on family life. It's difficult. But she's survived all sorts of things.
