Dave is a common man, he knows nothing of soldiers, warships and evacuations. He knows nothing of loss, sacrifice and fear, true fear. 

But he will.

Most books involving Zombies, or some type of apocalypse, start with the characters waking up and finding the streets over run, civilisation in ruins and strong but crazy groups popping up everywhere. In this book you will find the fall. How did things start to fail, what sequence of events occurred to lead us here.

The book has terrorists, mercenaries, warships, soldiers, civilians and my personal favourites - zombies.
