When the legend ends, adventure begins.

Since the witch Morgan Le Fay decided to chase down and annihilate the remaining descendants of King Arthur, the Order of Excalibur sought to scatter them throughout the colonies of the former British Empire and its allies, including Brazil's Second Empire.

Over 150 years later, Aurelio Britto, a boy dwelling in the periphery of Rio de Janeiro and a fan of button football and strategy games, is attacked in his grandfather's house by a mysterious jaguar-man. An antique shop owner, Mr. Campbell, turns out to be the million-year-old wizard Merlin, who's about to get Aurelio into a risky heroic journey: surviving the assaults of Morgan's minions and retrieving the sword Excalibur, last seen in the hands of the Lady of the Lake over a thousand years ago.

Along with the ever sassy Gwyn (and don't you dare call her by her full name, "Guillhermina"), the beaming rock-lover Gabriel, the pessimist Bruno and his cousin, Junior - not to mention Grandpa Genaro - Aurelio makes a pact at a round park table, seeking to restore the dream of Camelot through its final heir.

A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places. ***** Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld.
