Ssssso basically you're a time traveler that somehow (mostly for plot) lost your memory after a incident involving a British flag, two red coats with guns, and (because I decided this to be so) you being completely naked. After waking up with a British flag wrapped around you, ya can't remember a diddley darn thing that happened. A small group of men are talking outside the room you're in.
