This story won 3rd place in @CJ_Callahan's, Gandalf's Challenge and was the inspiration for me to write the story 'Home, Legolas Tale', which is a continuation of Legolas' story.

What is it like to love someone who holds you prisoner? Nellie has always lived her life helping her mother and three brothers. She has never really experienced anything past a forest where she spends most of her time. One day while sitting in the forest an unexpected man walks up to her. She has an idea of who the man could be but doubts that it was him. When Nellie wakes up she is in a strange place and all she wants is to return home. There is only one thing holding her back: Thranduil now holds her prisoner. Why does he hold her prisoner? Nellie asks herself this question everyday, but things are starting to change. She is becoming accustomed to life in Mirkwood. There is an unmistakable connection forming between her and Thranduil, but she has noticed the past few days she has awoken from strange dreams. As her feelings for him grow she finds herself running away but things never return to the way they were. Will she discover who she truly is? Will she ever reveal her emotions for the man who never let her go?
