What Jason desired most was to be bathed in the warm rich rays of pure sunlight that would engulf him in the wonders of vitamin D. Too bad that the radioactivity had become so harsh that the sun hadn't shone since the beginning of it all... two months ago. With all goodbyes being said and all hope being lost, the true meaning of life stems from the minds of the dwindling survivors and unity, oneness and determination is forged in the crucible of war. Humanity. It goes beyond the common definition of: "a collective group of humans". It's a sense of benevolence. One may act; 'for the sake of humanity' and there are; 'crimes against humanity'. We're supposed to be proud of the human race, yet... humans are self-destructive. A group of elite alien race came to Earth and proved once and for all that we were our own worst enemy. They weren't wrong. but it was too late. They managed to save Earth- eradicating pollution and reversing global warming but they killed anyone who got in their way and indoctrinated the rest. Those who remained revolted. World War III resulted- killing the planet. The War ended but the battle was not won. The fight continues on, despite the destroyed society and Earth we call home. It's a relentless fight between those who want the world to go back to the way it was and those who still fight to hold on to their humanity- no matter what. We self-destruct but we also fight for what's right. It's a delicate balance- it's an art form.
