"Everything is from the heart; words, feelings, thoughts, actions. All from the heart." I moved closer, the cold wind lashing my rosy cheeks.
"including this." I stood on the tips of my toes and pressed my lips onto his, almost instinctively he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. It was like a dream i had completely forgotten about the world around me. I slowly pulled away.

"If that was from the heart" his voice sounding husky."then so is this."
He knelt down on his one knee. I couldn't believe what was happening it was way to early, was he proposing? I am only 21 I can't get married yet. I haven't even had a boyfriend. Fear filled my whole body. MOST of all I was nervous.

"I feel like we have come a long way and i think this is long over due and after a lot time spent practicing with my little sister." He dug in his coat and brought out a small velvet box. I didn't even notice that there were other students surrounding us, i didn't care." Mia Luné Parks will you be my girlfriend he opened the box and I gasped.

Prologue In the world of college life, words are often thrown around like confetti-light, colorful, and sometimes lacking substance. They say things to fill the silence, to create connections, and to express feelings that often remain hidden beneath the surface. But what happens when those words fall flat? When the promises made in fleeting moments fade into echoes of unfulfilled intentions? This is a story about the complexities of communication and the silent battles fought within relationships. It began with a simple smile exchanged in the midst of chaos during National Pharmacy Week-a moment that seemed inconsequential yet held the weight of possibilities. She found herself drawn to him, captivated by the way he spoke, the way he made her feel. But as she discovered, words alone would not be enough to bridge the gap between us. As their paths intertwined, we danced around each other in a series of unsaid feelings, lingering glances, and an unspoken connection that left her yearning for more. But with every promise unkept, the reality became clearer: words are just that-words. They mean little without the actions to back them up. This is the story of Elle's journey through that realization, a tale of fleeting moments, unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately, the power of choosing clarity over confusion. It's about learning that love is not just spoken; it's demonstrated. And in the end, it was a lesson that would change everything she thought she knew about relationships and herself.

The more he gets closer, the deeper the kiss gets. My hands weren't able to move, they are just on the side of my body. He slowly pulled out of the kiss and starts to trail kisses on my cheeks and down to my neck. "Stop. Get away from me." I said in a weak and soft tone of voice. I felt his lips form into a smile and said, "I can't. You're just too darn irresistible." After he said those words, I felt his lips get back on mine as he started giving me the passionate kiss that we shared just a moment ago. I slowly felt his hands travelled towards my waist, when I felt his hand going up and towards to my sensitive part of my body, my eyes slowly opened. In my surprise, I felt his hand touching my breast. I didn't know that I still have some power left in me that I pushed him away and immediately connected my fists towards his face. -- Juliet, a popular yet not so rich high school student who is on her senior year, has been experiencing a lot of problems lately and she insist on keeping it to herself because she doesn't want anyone to be troubled with her problem. "You just have no idea." His voice was thick with restraint. "W-what," I breathed. His gaze flicked to my lips as his thumb stroked again. The calloused pad against my soft flesh sent goosebumps down my arms. His once warm eyes were dark as they lifted and bared into my soul. "What you do to... men." His husky whisper weakened my knees. I almost fell but his other hand settled on my hip, pulling me closer to him. "What you do to me," he added on a breath. The hand on my jaw shifted. His fingers left trails of tingles as he slipped them back slowly, under my earlobe and into my curls. *************************************************** As a young girl, Charlotte Avery's favourite pass time was daydreaming about her Prince Charming: Archer Johnson. In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart. "It started the first time I saw you..." * I was all alone. No one was there. No one knew that I was drowning right now. No one knew how much I was hurting. No one could see me... Except for one. Professor Lee... Yes. Professor Lee. My Professor Lee. The teacher that I had fallen so hopelessly and so helplessly for. The teacher who made my heart lodge itself in my throat with his smile and his laugh . . . He had noticed that I was hurting. He cared. Didn't he? The one person who had noticed-who I thought, maybe, just maybe, cared-was forbidden to me. Sure, he may have cared about me, but he cared about me as his student. There was no way that he cared about me the same way I cared about him. There was no way he thought of me the same way I constantly thought of him. He doesn't love me the way I love him... I reminded myself again that we would never be able to have a normal relationship. I'd never be able to hug him or kiss him in public. I'd never be able to hold his hand in public. Take silly pictures with him and upload them to Instagram, or go on double dates with my friends with him. Everything about our relationship would have to stay a secret. And what kind of relationship is that? How could a relationship that could only exist behind closed doors be anything fun? But did I really care more about those things than I did him? No. I didn't need all that stuff...pictures and double dates and public displays of affection. I didn't need them. I just needed-I just wanted-Professor Lee. * Gloria Anderson is a sophomore studying ballet and theatre at a prestigious private college: Accent Academy. The day she meets her new History of Theatre teacher, Professor Daniel Lee, she feels an attraction to him that she cannot explain. A series of events throughout the semester serve to bring student and teacher closer to one another-closer than Gloria could have ever imagined. Can she allow herself to dream of something more with him?
