Iris Welch is one from the uncountable less amount of humans alive on this world. Her parents got caught by the hosts and since her childhood she has got no one left. She learned to fight on her own, survive on her own and take care of her health. Until one day she had a persecution behind her and crashed the car, causing her to get treated in a hospital.
Once Iris tries to escape, she meets Zayn. A tough young guy who is searching through whole America to find any signs of human life. He takes her to his home, where she meets the soul Louis. Iris can not be more disgusted of him. Shall she stay judgemental against him or will she find a way to accept him during their fight for the human rase?
