"But I believe there's more to life than all my problems maybe there's still hope for me to start again
Get my feet back on the ground
Pull my head out of the clouds
I think it's time for me to figure me out"
~ The Summer Set, "Figure Me Out"
Violet Summers is 17 years old and is still trying to figure herself out. It's her senior year in high school and everyone already has the next four years of their lives laid out; college, jobs, military. This is a small town where after high school, everyone knows where they want to go. Everyone but Violet Summers. She's lost. When it comes time for her senior project, she's at a complete loss for what to do.
Right when she thinks that there's no hope for her, that's she's doomed to never graduate from high school, a lightbulb sparks in her. And who better to come along for the ride than the boy she has to tutor so that he can graduate, Rowan Sanford?
A funny feeling draws Violet to Rowan like their pasts are somehow connected. How so? Well, you'll just have to read to find out.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
