The Maze Runner: A New Leader [Discontinued]

Sixteen-year-old Avery is the leader of the Gladers and first to arrive in the Glade, alongside her older brother Newt. For years in the maze they had struggled to find a way out, until one day a new greenie arrives who could about change everything.

Thomas is just another normal teenager, at first. But, he calls so much unintended attention to himself that the others can't help but raise their eyebrows. Being especially curious, he decides to venture out and break rule after rule, but later discovers the answer to the question Avery has been searching for for - well, as long as she can remember.

This an alternate story based specifically on The Maze Runner movies, told from the perspective of Avery. Avery is a new character who is portrayed not as "Newt's little sister," but as a woman who knows what she's doing and is not afraid to take control. Unlike *cough* *cough* Teresa......

DISCLAIMER: I know that in the movies and books Newt already has a younger sister that he calls Lizzy, (Sonya) whom he loves very much, but I thought it would be fun to change it a bit and give it a little twist.

All characters were created and belong to James Dashner, except for Avery. I did add some more plot twists, though and changed the story line, though.
