The Unbelievably True And Painful Reality Of Monsters is a story about two boys who live in an underground shelter. These two boys have to survive the bone-crushing reality and protect themselves from other monsters like them and more. Xavier, a shape shifter, fights off ghouls, zombies, ect to protect his partner, Dmitri, who's also a zombie. But Dmitri is a rare breed of a zombie that caused his kind to disown him, so now he's with Xavier, a rebellious, dangerous, and always angry shapeshifter. But Dmitri seems to always calm him down when he's out of control. Xavier needs Dmitri to survive. He's like the ultimate stress ball.
