DAMMIT. What the hell? What was that?? With each word this guy uttered, he felt more and more flustered. But how?? All he was saying was custom lines baristas said when taking an order. There was nothing unusual. Why was he reacting at such an extreme to just his words? His heart beat out of his chest, he died a little inside looking at those perfectly slim, faded pink lips and genuinely smiling half-moon eyes. Why was he feeling this way? What had this guy done to him??
What he should've known is, words themselves matter much less than the people that speak them.
