17 year old Ashlynn Kennedy's parents died in a car crash when she was only 6, now Ashlynn lives with her Aunt Terra and Uncle Roger. Right now her life is good, she has a best friend and she does ballet which is her favourite thing ever! 

One day there's a new boy at school. His name is Shane, his incredible grey eyes and light brown hair that falls in front of his eyes catch Ashlynn's attention and she can't forget him.

One day a construction worker brings his son to his work, his name is a mystery to Ashlynn for now, but his piercing blue eyes and jet black short hair mesmerize her. The boy looks familiar but Ashlynn can figure out why. After a few days she figures it out he's from her dance studio. She watched him practice ballet one day in the studio on his own after hours. He's was amazing...

Her life has changed now with them both in her life, she can't decided which boy to pick. 

One day in her Acro class she's distracted by the mystery boy again. Her teacher catches her not paying attention and snaps her back to reality. In the middle of attempting a back hand spring, she gets distracted again...Her hands slips when she going back...she panicked...she quickly kicked her feet over trying to catch herself but she landed it wrong...she banged her head and the ground and blacks out... The next day...she wakes up in the hospital...
