Have the courage to change your fate.
'"What if I told you that I've seen the future?" he asks me. "What would you say?"
"I'd scowl and say you've gone crazy!" I reply.'
Within the past few years, all Ace has known is hardship and struggles. His home country of Edalekor was overrun by a tyrant king, his family was killed, and he ran away like a coward, joining a group of peace-fighters in the neighboring country of Ogilia called the Rangers. A few years later, he is the leader, until the Tyrant moves his attention away from Edalekor and to Ogilia. Within the span of a few weeks, he is back where he started with the only survivors of the Tyrant's attack on the Rangers at his side. Now he must add one more thing on his to-do list. He plans to save Ogilia and take back Edalekor from the Tyrant. But of course, nothing is as easy as it sounds.
With his past catching up to him and secrets being revealed, Ace and the rest of the Rangers must do all they can to save the two countries or will die trying. Not to mention the appearance of a mysterious man who somehow knows what will happen in the future. With secrets being kept and Ace struggling to determine who he is, saving the two countries seems impossible. But nothing is impossible, especially if the mysterious future-knowing man is on Ace's side. And along the way, maybe Ace will come to terms with his past and who he is. Just maybe . . .

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

Odette Reyes was living a healthy life. Sure she didn't have a husband - boyfriend for the matter. But she was still young she still had time. She lived a simple, stable life. One where she had an apartment, a cat, and a job as a car spokesperson. She loved cars, she knew how to fix them and loved to talk about them. Often she would tour with a few car shows that landed her around the world. What she didn't expect was to get robbed one night and left her homeless and lost in a foreign country. She was about to give up hope- Until San Iker Casillas offered her a home. It was only temporary. But what was supposed to only be a one month stay ended up for much longer. Iker fell for her, though he still had yet to admit it for himself. Gladly he would have pursued a relationship with her if it weren't for his wife, Sara Carbonero. From the get go Sara wasn't too lenient on the idea of another woman staying in their house. A woman who they had no background knowledge of. She had to say yes, it was in her husband's nature to care for others and she had to deal with it. If she had her own input in the situation, the stranger would have left the house right after her thirty days were up. Sara knew Odette was trouble. Slowly she could see her husband, the man she married, take interest in the stranger who once got fed, turned to be beautiful. The question arose, would Sara Carbonero, the fearless sports jouranlist, let another woman take her man without a fight?

This book is for those who love slow-burn, chaotic, "how can they be that stupid," "about bloody time," wrench-your-heart-but-make-you-feel-so-good romances. Because what's life without a bit of drama, right? Throw in epic chaos, a princess on the run, and some evil bad guys (because every story needs a villain), and you've got a book that will keep you knee-deep in drama. If you've come here looking for your traditional synopsis, read on, my lovely readers. And if what you really crave is a mix of whump, smut, and rom-com with a side of catastrophe, then look no further-I've got you covered. __________________________________________________________________________ Proper Synopsis When a devastating attack reduces her home to ruins, Princess Sera's only option is to flee. Seeking refuge on Earth, she meets Matthew, the cocky, confident leader of the Allegiant Academy. Little does she know that the man she's starting to fall for is the same person who wields immense power-the one she dubbed 'Ace' and has been her bitter enemy since childhood. But hey, that's not exactly first-date material, is it? Nobody kicks it off with, "Oh, by the way, I have an alter ego who's a fiend-fighting, blood-killer type that hunts savages for sport." Right? As Sera tries to keep her princess status and crystal warrior identity under wraps, she throws herself into becoming someone else. After growing up in war, happiness doesn't just return-it sneaks up on you, like plants pushing through cracked concrete. But when her past comes knocking, threatening to undo everything she's painstakingly rebuilt, she'll quickly learn that truth has impeccable timing-and her destiny has the absolute worst habit of showing up when she least expects it. But seriously, what did she expect? When it comes to life, destiny, and fate, it's never really in our hands, is it? _______________________________________________________________________________
