Brayden Harlow is driven to insanity due to not knowing what it feels like to be loved. She is metaphorically stuck in a loop of unfortunate events, being in her sophomore year of high school doesn't make situations any better. The increasing stress, the need to study becomes to overwhelming. However, her dismay is soon neutralized when an angel falls down from heaven, no not Lucifer, Mr Gabriel. He too is overpowered by his own demons but he can see through Brayden's shitty persona and facades.

I guess he's not really her guardian angel. While these two figures overcome the controversies of their love and make such reckless decisions Brayden's insanity begins to get the better of her.
